Grant Payment (information from our FAQ)
Q18: How will our grant be paid?
By cheque. We cannot pay grants in any other way.
Q19: My organisation has been awarded a grant – when can we expect payment?
The Grants Officer assigned to your application will be in touch once you have returned the signed terms and conditions. They will formulate a pre-payment monitoring plan, if necessary, and will authorise payment once all grant conditions have been met and the project is ready to proceed.
Q20: We are ready to start but haven’t received a cheque.
Your grant will only be paid once you have demonstrated that your project is ready to proceed. Check with your Grants Officer to make sure that you have provided all of the necessary documentation.
Q21: I have done all of the above but the cheque is still not here!
If your Grants Officer has told you that a cheque is on its way and you have not received it within two weeks, please get in touch.
Monitoring and Reporting
Main and Small Grant Programmes
Grant recipients are required by the terms and conditions of our grants to provide progress report six months after grant payment, and at six monthly intervals until the money has been spent. We may require more regular reports for larger capital appeals, or for complex projects.
