What we fund

MAIN GRANTS PROGRAMME AND SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME

We fund one-off grants for capital costs for UK registered charities with an annual turnover of under £10m.

Capital costs include:

         - Building purchase and renovation
         - Equipment (including IT hardware)
         - Vehicles

We do not fund revenue costs including:

- Running costs* for your charity/project
         - Events
         - Training costs/proffesional fees

*Ineligible costs include: salaries, expenses, administration, hire of space/premises, marketing and publicity, utility bills.

For charities which, by their nature, have no capital requirements, we will consider funding one-off projects such as production of publications (not regular newsletters etc) or setting up a new website.

Textile Heritage Projects

- Our primary interest is in supporting the cataloguing, indexing, storing, conserving, display and access to important UK textile collections and archives.
         - We wish to encourage access to past history in order to stimulate scholarly research and future design.
         - We are more interested in cloth and its manufacture than costumes.
         - Our priority is British textiles.
         - We will not fund the purchase of art textiles.
