Open to charities with an annual turnover under £250,000, working in the areas listed below. Under this Programme grants awarded are between £500 and £10,000 for capital costs. Funding will be available in two tranches each year, from January and July.

Encouragement of Young People
Including (but not exclusively) organisations working with economically disadvantaged youth in deprived areas
- Social Inclusion
Support for organisations which seek to tackle such problems as substance abuse, homelessness, offending and family breakdown.
- Elderly
Priority will be given to projects focusing on those in need or at risk of social exclusion.
- Disability
Support for organisations tackling the needs of the physically and/or mentally disabled.
- Visual impairment
Support for organisations addressing the needs of blind or visually impaired people.
- Textiles
UK academic institutions involved in textiles, technical textiles and colour science. Heritage projects involving textiles, particularly those of national importance.
A charity which has received an offer of a grant cannot apply again for at least five years.
