You can search the catalogue by entering keywords in the Search Box. Your query might be thematic, e.g. ‘Fire’ or ‘Mayor’; you might be looking for a particular place associated with the Company, e.g. ‘Fenchurch Street’; or for the names of Clothworkers, e.g. ‘Samuel Pepys’.
The online catalogue will return results of archives, library books or works of art in our collections which contain your keyword, together a short description of that item and a unique reference number.

Please note that some archives may be closed due to the sensitive or personal information they contain.
Please also be aware that not all of the items in our archive are catalogued to the detail of listing all names mentioned within a document. If you think the person your are researching was a member of The Clothworkers' Company in the past, please start your research at www.londonroll.org, which hosts full transcriptions of all of our membership registers.
