People, Property and Charity
The Company recently funded a one-year fellowship to research the history of the Company’s benefactors, charities and properties between the years 1528 and 1688.

Entitled ‘People, Property and Charity’, the project was a collaboration with the Centre for Metropolitan History at the Institute of Historical Research. A project website with biographies of the Company’s benefactors and a gazetteer of properties the Company acquired and maintained for charitable purposes can be accessed
here.
