Scots Guards

Picture of Scots Guards on paradeIn 2008 we established an affiliation with the Scots Guards which is developing well.  There is regular contact between Officers from the Regiment and Liverymen, whether at dinners at our Hall or at St James’s Palace, seeing them training at their base in Catterick, North Yorkshire, or at sporting events.

We have contributed £50,000 to the Regimental Welfare Fund to help those injured on duty, and regularly provide support for social events, in particular for the wives and children of the soldiers.

We were honoured to be presented with a 1905 King’s Colour which, having been conserved and mounted, is now displayed at Clothworkers’ Hall.

The Colonel of the Regiment, His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, is also a Liveryman of the Clothworkers.
